From one engineer's conviction to a company
S.A.L.T CI began with a question its founder kept hearing from government and university IT teams: how can we use modern AI without sending our data abroad?
CAPT ZEDs, a retired Royal Malaysian Air Force officer with more than 27 years in ICT and cloud research, started building the answer in 2025: a platform that runs AI models, knowledge and applications entirely on an organisation's own servers. It was tested where it mattered, in proofs of concept at a federal agency, public universities and a defence training centre, with the network cable pulled out.
As the platform grew into a family of applications, the people who believed in it came together to form Pemangkin Teknologi Reka PLT in 2026, so that S.A.L.T CI could reach every organisation that needs it, through partners across Malaysia.
